Since this is a software only course, it is pretty easy to use - you simply install the software and run it. As you can see in the screenshot below, it is layed out where the lesson topics are listed on the left pane and the lesson material is displayed on the right pane. Start Spanish is essentially a crash course in Spanish grammar with a bit of vocabulary splashed in. There are 49 lessons and the vast majority focus on correct verb usage. On the plus side, thery include vocabulary typing excersise, in which they give you a Spanish phrase for which you are asked type the Spanish translation. It will then tell you if you are right or wrong, giving you the correct translation if you are wrong. This is a very basic course and not recommended unless you want the bare essentials of Spanish.
